Penang Trip! ;) ♥ Thursday, December 23, 2010

I'm feeling extremely tired after I'm back from the Penang Trip!
Lack of my 8hrs of sleep these few days. :(

Anyway, back from Penang Trip on Sunday!
A great short getaway trip with the Weeting, Elaine & Elaine's Aunt (Xin Yi). (:
But the hotel wasnt that great lehs. Stayed in Bayview Hotel GeorgeTown.
Dont really worth the 4 star lorhs. There isnt any fridge at all!
Then there's no floor mat. -.- So went down to the counter & asked, then they brought the floor mat up. But if need to use the fridge had to go down to the cafe area.
Best part is the toilet slipper! Lols, its actually a blue colour uncle kinda slipper. How bad.
But, other than that, the bed is comfortable lahs, & the toilet is acceptable too.


So we were practically travelling on our own during the whole 3D2N trip.
And travelling on our own means by walking with our "bus 11" instead of taking public transport. Hahs! We're that GREAT! ;)


Mainly went to all the musuems. Not much of a shopping made, cause there's nothing much there for us to shop too. Should have go to BKK for that!

There's nothing much inside. Though its known as the most popular tour.

Penang Peranakan Mansion





Penang City Hall, Esplanade & War Memorial







Fort Cornwallis





Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion





Batu Ferringhi


This place is out of GeorgeTown, so we had to take bus over.
And the bus 101 actually has wifi installed! ;) How cool, hahs.
If only Singapore public transport has that too.



Not only all these, but we tried their local dishes too.
And one of it is the penang laksa, but it was known as assam laksa over there.


Not bad, but we dont really know which stall sells the nicest one.


The whole trip made my legs & feet damn tiring & aching.
Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable one.





Yups, probably we should plan for another trip again next year! ;)
